Hi , I'm Alexi 

 

  I have MS.... Damn it! I feel like I'm in some kinda of intervention! Lets start over...now that you know my name and that I have MS, I am a 23 year old mom of Rylie (2 years old) and girlfriend to the most amazing supportive man I have ever met! I was raised most of my life in Montana and now living this wonderful life on the Oregon Coast. On any given day you can find me hiking,fishing, cooking for my family. I will occasionally be at home doing some kinda of crazy organization to keep me sane. I am working on teaching my daughter that even though her mom is "sick" ( which I hate calling it that). I will pursue my purpose... my MS Purpose!

   Okay back to the whole MS thing ... almost 2 years ago now I was diagnosed with RRMS (Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis) after I woke up to loosing feeling and strength on my right side. While that news and the ending of my 8 year relationship with my fiance was unbearable it seemed..... (Lets be real I had to do a HUGE Life Pivot).

      I kept pushing through and staying positive as much as I could. I'll be honest though... I'm not gonna act like I do everything perfect on a day to day, Because I don't and its hard! That's part of it ! You're tired and dealing with multiple symptoms physically and mentally and it can change daily. MS wasn't meant to be easy, it was meant for the silent warriors .

     I want to aspire to my purpose on helping those with MS ( which I have what I think is a Love/Hate relationship with my MS) and inspire my fellow peeps with MS that you are enough and yes YOU CAN!!!!!

The physical limitations can’t stop you from doing what you enjoy! Your mindset is the true limitation !
